Modern methods of thermal insulation of buildings

House insulation is one of the most important stages of construction, especially in our climate zone. The main heat losses (and this is about 60%) occur through the roof, walls, floor, window and door frames. Heating costs can be reduced by upgrading the building's insulation system (replacing windows and doors, installing an autonomous heating system). With the help of thermal insulation, it is possible to significantly reduce heat consumption in the cold season and ensure optimal microclimate parameters in the warm season. Another advantage of using it is the reduction in the consumption of building materials by reducing the thickness of the structure. In particular, advantageous savings can be obtained on materials such as wood, bricks and cement.

Insulation of building facades helps to extend the life of structures, protecting them from wind, moisture and other atmospheric influences. Insulation for walls outside and inside has a unique property of hydrophobicity, due to which moisture does not accumulate inside the structures, which eliminates the appearance of mold. Insulation for walls outside and inside is fireproof, it melts only at temperatures above 1000 degrees Celsius. The main types of material, depending on the field of application: for the floor, for walls and partitions, for roofing and attic spaces. The main types of material, depending on the material of manufacture: mineral wool, basalt, polystyrene, expanded polystyrene.

Insulation in rolls is universal, cut with conventional tools, easy to install, does not require special conditions for transportation and storage. The thickness of the insulation rolls has a direct impact on thermal conductivity and resistance to mechanical stress. The thickness of the insulation also affects its soundproofing ability. The material is environmentally friendly, its particles do not cause allergic reactions, the level of formaldehyde used in the production is below the permissible level. There are certain safety rules that should be observed when installing insulation in rolls:

- work in overalls and gloves;

- cutting and other types of processing in glasses, a respiratory mask;

- keeping the premises where the work is carried out clean.

In the Bulgarian building materials market, the sale of insulation is a fairly widespread service. Not all manufacturers specialize in the sale of high quality insulation, and at the same time, the best price. It is better to place an order with companies that have a lot of positive reviews and recommendations; when buying, be sure to check for quality certificates! Do not forget that the final result depends on the competent selection of materials and components and the correct installation of insulation.
