BILKA metal gutter 150 mm / 4 m – Gloss

A 150 mm half-round metal gutter, 4 m long, from the BILKA 150/100 rainwater system – for large houses, villas and buildings with a high volume of rainwater.

Gloss finish: double-coated Swedish SSAB steel, 35 µm of paint on each side.

15-year warranty for colour and corrosion.

The system and its elements

The BILKA system comes in two sizes: 125/90 (125 mm gutter, Ø90 mm pipe) – the most common choice for family houses – suitable for roof areas up to about 150 m²; and 150/100 (150 mm gutter, Ø100 mm pipe) – for large houses, villas and buildings with a high volume of rainwater.

Twisted hook – for fixing to the side of a rafter or beam
Reinforcing clip – stiffens the gutter and keeps it firmly in the hooks

Gutter end cap – closes the end of the gutter
Gutter joint – joins two gutters with a seal
Gutter outlet – connects the gutter to the downpipe
60° elbow – goes around the eaves and leads the pipe to the wall
Hopper – collects water from several gutters into one pipe
Extension pipe 1 m – extends the pipe between the elbows
External corner – for external roof corners
Internal corner – for internal roof corners
Branch (Y-piece) – joins two downpipes into one
Outlet shoe – directs water away from the foundation

How it is installed

Hooks. Fit the hooks 60–90 cm apart with a gutter fall of 3–5 mm per metre towards the pipe. End hooks about 10 cm from the gutter end, and one hook on each side of every corner.

Marking out. Fit the end hooks first and stretch a string between them to line up the rest. With two pipes, start from the middle with a fall towards both sides.

Gutters and corners. Start with the gutter that has the outlet fitted. Leave 2–3 mm between gutters and corners for thermal expansion; the joints close the connection with a seal.

Outlet. Cut the opening in the gutter with a hacksaw or shears – not an angle grinder – and bend the edges outwards into the outlet.

Pipes. The first pipe bracket goes 150 mm below the elbow, with no more than 2 m between brackets. On insulated facades use an anchor of suitable length.

Cleaning up. Clean metal shavings and offcuts out of the gutters – otherwise they rust and stain the surface.

Choose the size by roof area: 125/90 – up to about 150 m², larger roofs – 150/100.
Cut gutters and pipes with a hacksaw or metal shears – not an angle grinder.
Clean leaves out of the gutters at least once a year.
Order every element in the same colour and finish so the system looks uniform.

Delivery and storage

Delivery throughout Bulgaria. ROOFER delivers the rainwater system to your site together with the other roofing materials.

Inspection on arrival. Check the elements against the delivery documents and look for visible damage.

Storage. Keep gutters and pipes dry, on a flat base and without loads on top so they do not deform.
