Bitumen shingles IKO Armourshield Plus

Armourshield Plus is a self-adhesive shingle from IKO’s Shield series with a hexagonal shape and the widest colour range among the self-adhesive models, including the Ultra series.

They are made by IKO – one of the world’s largest roofing manufacturers. ROOFER supplies original IKO products with documents and warranty.

Shingle structure

Coloured mineral granules – UV protection and colour

Self-adhesive underside protected by a release film

ROOFER tips

Bitumen shingles are laid on a solid deck – OSB or plywood – and an underlay (Armourbase). Extra waterproofing goes in valleys and around chimneys.
Use packs from the same batch or mix them while laying – the roof colour will be even.
Install above +5 °C. In cold weather self-sealing only starts once the sun warms the roof.
For ridges, eaves and valleys use original IKO accessories – underlays, valley rolls, vents, Plastal adhesive and wide-head nails.

The warranty applies when installed according to IKO instructions with suitable accessories. Keep the purchase invoice; the specific conditions are set out in IKO’s warranty documents.
