BILKA Gotic gloss metal roof tiles combine a pronounced profile inspired by traditional tiles with a smooth, glossy finish. The reflective surface brings out the chosen colour and gives a pitched roof a distinctive appearance.
For a new roof or a renovation, choose a covering that suits the roof design and structure. ROOFER can help you choose a colour, plan the sheets and identify the roof accessories needed for your project.
The system uses counter-battens and cross battens. The linked guide shows an example with 350 mm batten spacing. For the 400 mm module, confirm the batten layout and eaves detail with our manager before installation.

Counter-battens and ventilation: for good ventilation, ROOFER recommends counter-battens with a 3 × 5 cm (30 × 50 mm) cross-section for roof slopes up to and including 4 m in length. For longer slopes, we recommend 5 × 5 cm (50 × 50 mm).
Sealing tape: we install special У1 sealing tape beneath the counter-battens.
Cross battens: we use boards with a 2.5 × 10 cm (25 × 100 mm) cross-section.
Impregnated timber: all timber in the batten system must be impregnated. This protects the wood and helps extend the roof’s service life.
Gotic is manufactured in lengths from 500 to 7000 mm. We recommend standard sheets with factory-formed joints; suitable lengths and quantities are selected to match the roof slope dimensions.
For Gotic with the 350 mm module, standard sheet lengths follow 350 mm increments. Standard lengths within the production range:
0.50 · 0.85 · 1.20 · 1.55 · 1.90 · 2.25 · 2.60 · 2.95 · 3.30 · 3.65 · 4.00 · 4.35 · 4.70 · 5.05 · 5.40 · 5.75 · 6.10 · 6.45 · 6.80 m
These are nominal sheet lengths. Effective coverage along the roof slope is determined after allowing for overlaps. For long slopes, BILKA recommends joining several sheets with individual lengths of up to 4 m.
Send us the slope dimensions or your roof drawings. Confirm the selected standard or custom lengths, availability, sheet joining and complete layout with our manager before ordering, taking transport requirements into account.
The Gotic profile can be laid from left to right or from right to left. The direction and sequence should follow the roof layout and the installation instructions for this profile.

The main structure has 8 layers: a steel core and 7 protective layers. The zinc and polyester coatings protect the steel, while the outer coating provides the colour and surface finish.

Main layers — the numbers match the diagram:
2 — Gloss polyester coating (PE), 25 μm
3 — Polyester primer (PE), ≥ 5 μm
4 — Passivation layer — outer side
5 — Zinc coating — outer side
6 — Steel sheet
7 — Zinc coating — reverse side
8 — Passivation layer — reverse side
9 — Polyester back coat (PE), ≥ 7 μm
Total mass of the two-sided zinc coating: 225–275 g/m², according to BILKA.
The zinc layer protects the steel core against corrosion. Under otherwise comparable conditions, more zinc provides a greater reserve of corrosion protection. Together with the polyester coating, it supports a long roof service life when the roof is correctly installed and maintained.
Additional options available to order:
1 — Protective PVC film.
10 — Anti-condensation layer.
Positions 1 and 10 are confirmed when ordering and are not included in the 8 main layers.
Gotic gloss: 10-year warranty for the coating’s colour and corrosion performance.
Every order comes with its own BILKA warranty certificate bearing a unique number for the delivered batch of metal roof tiles.
Keep the original warranty certificate and original purchase invoice. Follow BILKA’s instructions for transport, storage, installation and use; the specific warranty conditions are set out in the certificate.
BILKA warranty conditions (PDF, Bulgarian)Delivery throughout Bulgaria. ROOFER arranges transport of the metal roof tiles to your site. Sheet-length restrictions apply — contact our manager to confirm the permitted dimensions and delivery arrangements before ordering.
Before unloading. Agree on vehicle access to the site and the unloading method in advance, especially for long sheets.
Unloading team. The customer is responsible for arranging unloading and providing the necessary people. For manual unloading of long sheets, plan for at least 2–3 people. Sheet length and weight may require more people or lifting equipment — agree on the unloading method in advance. Do not move sheets by dragging them.
Transport packaging and returnable pallet. The metal roof tiles are delivered on a pallet, with protective transport packaging made from film and cardboard. The pallet must be returned to the factory; agree on the return arrangements with our manager.
Inspection on arrival. For deliveries by ROOFER, the packaging is opened at the site to inspect and receive the order. Check the products against the delivery documents and look for visible damage or missing items.
Factory labelling. Each pallet carries a label showing the order number, sheet thickness, production date and the lengths of all sheets on that pallet.
Automated production and checks. Production at BILKA is automated. Dimensions and diagonals are checked every morning as part of production quality control.
Before installation. Store the sheets in a dry, well-ventilated place and keep moisture from collecting between them.
Place pallets on stable supports above the ground, allowing drainage and ventilation. Keep moisture from becoming trapped inside the transport packaging.
